( about project )

This series captures a whirlwind weekend in Dubrovnik with my partner, set against a backdrop of dramatic weather.

The city’s iconic architecture came alive beneath swirling clouds and gusty winds, transforming its ancient walls, narrow streets, and terracotta rooftops into scenes of cinematic beauty.

Shot on my Pentax 67 and XPan, the collection blends sweeping panoramas with intimate details, offering a dual perspective on life within this historic city. From moody skies framing the Adriatic Sea to quiet moments shared amid the labyrinth of stone alleyways, each frame reflects the contrast between Dubrovnik’s grandeur and its everyday life.

The stormy atmosphere added depth and texture to every shot, enhancing the timeless quality of film and creating a visual story as dynamic as the city itself.

This collection is a tribute to Dubrovnik’s enduring charm and the unique energy that only wild weather can bring.
